Pearl Bisto - Scarborough

My daughter and I had lunch at The Pearl, choosing items from the $12 all-day specials board. I ordered the open chicken and salad on toasted Turkish bread, while my daughter had the chicken satay with salad and a cup of tea. My dish was delicious and very filling, with plenty of chicken and salad. My daughter also enjoyed her meal, which included two satay sticks and a salad. The service was good and the indoor and outdoor seating options were comfortable. We would definitely return to this restaurant.

Stood waiting at the counter while 3 staff stood together talking and ignoring me. I had to actually ask them if I could get a coffee, only to be given a look. This was a second encounter here, the first time we turned up for breakfast on a Sunday, restaurant was open chairs and tables out ect, only to be told to come back as they didn't open for another 15mins. So we just walked about 20metres further and had a great breakfast at another restaurant that actually wanted our business.We just thought wow, if he'd just taken our coffee order and sat us down that was 15mins right there, but he lost our business and we found a much frienlier place to have breakfast. We won't be bothering these people again. With such stiff competition all around them you have to wonder how long they will last with their attitude to their business??

This restaurant offers top-notch service that is incredibly friendly and fast. The hamburgers are enormous, almost too much for one person to finish! I absolutely adore this place, the atmosphere is lovely and the food is delicious.

The service at this restaurant was outstanding! The staff members were very friendly and accommodating, even though most of us did not speak French.
