The Famous Fishpan - Scarborough

The waitress that served us was nice, the restaurant was nice and clean, and the prices were also not bad! I have made a children's fish chips (as they did not make small portions) that I was glad to get in the position, because some places do not allow them to buy children's food, unless it is for a child. also for a child was the size of the fish huge! the fish chips were delicious, the fish was really flocky and damp. also the chipboards were a decent size. we haven't waited long for our drinks or eating, although the restaurant was busy.

Kabeljau and chips, sitting in, at the scarborough beach for just £7:95! portion was huge. perfectly cooked and served by friendly helpful staff. what more they can for. available also below. define our favorite chip shop (restaurant.)

Simply the best fish and chip shop in all scarborough, can really not be beaten. the fish is perfectly cooked and tasteful, the teig is the perfect thick and has the best crunch and the curry sauce is delicious and slightly sweet. it's all perfection.

Of today (3th juli) for traditional fish and chips at sea and was not disappointed that the service was 5 stars and the food quality was hard to beat. I and my friend couldn't think of something they could do better. we will be coming back

This is a great place on the seafront! We walked along looking for a place to eat some Fish Chips after checking out several places we came across The Famous Fish Pan. To the right side of the building was a takeaway style chippy then we noticed the lefthand side was a restaurant style setting. On first look it seemed small with limited seating however a member of staff told us they had more seating upstairs was shown to a table overlooking the seafront! Lovely views. The prices are pretty reasonable considering the others around and the food came out all together hot and well presented too. We had Fish Chips with mushy peas, bread butter accompanied by a pot of tea. My daughter had a cheeseburger which was decent not some basic one. The chios were chunky sizes and like the rest of the food was cooked perfectly!. We'll definitely visit here again if we're in Scarborough. Staff were all pleasant very attentive throughout.
