Bella Ciao Pizzeria - Scarborough

We arrived early and were warmly welcomed. The service was excellent and the staff was extremely friendly. The food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant.

We have been here on several occasions and found the food to be very good but a little bit more expensive than average. On this visit we were disappointed. We have usually stuck to pizza, calzone and pasta on previous visits and these have been very good. On this occasion we shared a breaded mozzarella starter and both had Arista pork. The starter was over cooked (slightly burned breadcrumbs) and tasted like something from Iceland. The main was 2 thin pork loin medallions with a thin tasteless sauce, a few small rosemary roast potatoes and a little salad. The salad didn't really go with the rest of the meal, we would have preferred vegetables. After the meal we were both still hungry and ended up going home for a snack. The service has always warm and friendly, there is a nice atmosphere and pleasant, clean surroundings. Genuine Italian waiting staff. We will try them again because we have had good meals in the past. Hopefully they will be back on form next time.

At Bella Ciao Ristorante, you can discover perfectly cooked spiced vegetable rice and pasta dishes. The place serves great coffee and has a very friendly staff. Highly recommend!
