Wonton Chai Noodle - Scarborough

The winzer noodles here are large, affordable, and hearty. They truly bring back the feeling of Hong Kong. The chili oil is excellent for dining in or taking home. The portions are generous and made in-house. The service is also good. Just a heads up, they're closed on Tuesdays.

We visited for a quick lunch and had the best Won Ton soup in the city. The service was incredibly fast, and the won tons were large, filled with oversized shrimp. The chili hot sauce was excellent as well.

Big Trio probably serves the best shrimp soup in all of the Greater Toronto Area. It's an incredible hidden gem. I've heard that this place is also the original spot for this dish. The shrimp are the size of golf balls, and the noodles are priced at just around $9 per bowl. It's a great option for affordable yet delicious food! If you're in the eastern part of the area and looking for a bowl of comfort, this is definitely the place to go.

Hong kong style nudelsuppe restaurant. great place for a quick bite. simple menu and delicious suppe. the sommes and dumplings are huge and tasty. service was friendly and fast.

The noodles here are pretty good: bouncy and not too much lye water. The cuttle fish balls are nice and the beef brisket it standard. I find their penny pork sauce to be a little strange but tasty. It is hotter than other places and has mushrooms in it. Overall it is a reasonably priced wonton noodle option in the east end. Only complaint is that they close early. So if you want to go for dinner, go early.
