Vindaloo - Scarborough

This review is based on DELIVERY ONLY and ordering 3 times. 1st. time it took close to 2 hrs. before my food came. 2nd. tome it took 1 hr. 20 mins. 3rd. time close to an hour but the food was very disappointing, I ordered mixed appetizer Chef's Mixed Platter which came WITHOUT papadum or chana. I also ordered the Salad it came WITHOUT goat cheese, mango or mango vinaigrette. Usually their food is good but I guess you have a better experience eating in rather than delivery. 3 strikes and you out Vindaloo. Sorry.

When craving authentic Indian but not wanting to go to Gerrard st. this is our Go-to place. Intimate location, friendly service, excellent quality food, fair prices, good portions... only 'critique' would be to remove the pictures of food from the window ... it downgrades what's inside..... on the other hand maybe that's good for us!!

I always love grabbing some of the appetizers and enjoying there many fine tasting dishes. Many times enjoying this restaurant w my partner. Raj is always very friendly and goes out of his way to make service smooth. If you want great food at a great price I suggest Vindaloo to anyone. Also very comfortable sitting area.

We've ordered take out about 8 times in the last year and a half; it just keeps getting better. Whenever we have four or more people for dinner, we decide not to cook, but to order from these folks: a chicken dish or two, the aloo gobi, saag paneer, naan, rice, and a few others. I recommend the chicken tikka and butter chicken, as well as the salman tikka.

I really liked the decor n it feels really cozy i usually like my food hot and spicey but felt the heat was to overbearing the mind you the taste was excellent. a lil pricey
