Kin Kin O-ka-ne By Oo-kinza Fish House

Really nice experience at Oo-Kinza. It?s definitely in the pricier side, however, the value you?re getting is incomparable! Huge portions and fresh fish. It?s a really small restaurant with only 10 seats, so you must make a reservation in advance! The owners were lovely and super attentive. I dropped my chopsticks twice (oops), they miraculously heard it and came with a new set right away! I?ll definitely be back for more dons in the future! The only thing I didn?t like was that they didn?t have a washroom in the restaurant. I was directed to McDonald?s next door?which is definitely unexpected for the price I?m paying?

Very pricey but because they give you really high quality cuts and fish. Incredibly small restaurant so reservation or take out required. We sat by a small high top by the door, so not the best experience for what we paid. However we had a lobster tower with sashimi and abalone. My goodness, it was so damn good. Wish I had enough money to eat it all the time ????????

So happy that they have expanded! Delicious fresh sushi and sashimi with different varieties. The decoration of the restaurant makes you feel like you are in Japan. Price is on the higher range but the quality of food is exceptional.

Hello from San Francisco! I gotta say I really dig the ambiance of this place from the small cozy setup to the decoration throughout. The biggest seller though is how they married both presentation and quality. While this does translate to higher cost, this place is well worth the try. I highly recommend their oysters with uni. I?m used to most restaurant skimping on the oysters but Oo-kinza really hooks you up here. Also, you can actually taste everything. The hanasaki crab don was quite an adventure to eat? you?ll see haha. The premium sashimi has some really fatty cuts like toro and more. Also want to give a shout-out to the server! She was really attentive and cleared our plates multiple times as the crab shells fill up.

Good quality is top tier, however, the price is definitely on the higher side. They have a huge selection of sashimi and don, you might spend a lot of time deciding what to get. We ordered a lobster don, haru bokksu box, and a uni tray. It was a bit too much for two people, it would have been perfect if we didn't order the uni. I would recommend ordering something to start with first and then see if you need more later. Environment wise, it is super tiny but the vibe is good. Service was fantastic, no complaints at all. You will likely need to make reservations in advance, we made ours by DM on Instagram, and it was super smooth as they replied promptly.
