Kerala Lounge - Scarborough

After a long time, we had an authentic Kerala food with its correct flavour. The Beef Roast, Kappa and Fish Pollichathi was so tasty. Always keep this quality and taste buds. Will visit again definitely, for trying out the other items in Menu!

I always wanted to taste authentic Kerala food here in Scarborough and from the time I saw the ads of Kerala lounge, I waited for its opening. I must tell, the wait didn 't go in vain. The food was amazing, especially their specialty dish Meen Pollichathu and the Mutton roast. Such a heavenly feel when I tasted the fish by opening the plantain leaf! Highly recommended. I am going to visit this place every weekend with my friends!!! Please keep up this quality and that 's going to take Kerala Lounge to the next level!

Being a Chef I was so excited to go and taste the food from Kerala Lounge.But honestly, that was a shocking experience. We ordered pothi Biryani( rice was half cooked. Not tasted like a Kerala biryani, the chicken was not cooked in masala,)but they had enough number of cashew and raisins. And there wasn't any pickle or salad as shown in the Ad. The next was kappa and fish curry. Fish curry was bitter in taste because of the over usage of fenugreek . This was beyond our expectation.????

The best Kerala style food I had in Toronto. Though the menu is limited, the items they serve are very delicious and little spicy. The ambiance is not so awesome but who cares about that when you get good food. Especially Kappa and Fish curry...

This Kerala place was too good.. we were looking for some indian cuisine on our way back from the Toronto zoo. And this place seemed to have the menu we were looking for. Kappa and fish curry was too good. Fish curry had very good flavor and went well with the kappa. Portion size was also more than sufficient for 2 of us. We also had chicken fry which had very good flavor. This place is pocket friendly with good food.
