Marconi Coffee - Scarborough

An alternative style cafe with good coffee. Had to wait a while for the owner/cook/chef to turn up and serve us but it was a late lunch for us and they may close early. Food ok though.

Nice cafe with a good atmosphere. Friendly efficient service. Serve a locally sourced coffee which is excellent. Good range of cakes and slices for a morning tea as well as a good lunch menu. Off street parking is convenient. Pick of the bunch in the area.

Maybe it's the name or maybe the setting, but I liked this placeFriendly and casualDecent mussels and wine.

Food was not good and service was so slow that nobody would have noticed if we left without paying the bill.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this restaurant at all cost.
