Contribuiți la feedbackA few weeks ago, on the occasion of the family-scale summer bank, fully satisfied with the first dinner we returned to try the fish from egitto and nina. as always super smiling, kind and helpful. this time we have dinner closed and I must say that the club conveys a sense of welcome and really pleasant familiarity. we started dinner with an abnormous and delicious portion of squids and fried shrimp: excellent, shrimp, which I usually do not like, were fresh and tasty. we also devoured very good toasted oranges! side by side with two servings of baked vegetables with delicious rice flour: absolutely fresh, delicate, warm and crispy textures! I recommend it. so we ordered two mixed grills of excellent fish, flanked by fried raw peppers, fried potatoes with peel and green salad. prices are always honest. I'm so sorry.
This braceria in the heart of the staircase literally caught me and pleasantly amazed at degrees. cozy and rustic at the right point, family management (wonderful,) from nina and Egyptian feels right at home! egidio we did not know him but in a short time he welcomed us with the smile, kindness and genuineness that rarely are found today, he could advise us to give us an evening of authentic flavors of Calabrian cuisine. First of all, as soon as we were hosted there were offers of slices of bread abrorm toasted with an excellent cream of 'nduja! we started dinner with big and goose slices of caciocavallo silano at the dish served with rocket and balsamic frosting: The caciocavallo was simply big, each bite was a goto explosion. we continued with two portions of grilled meat mixed with various cuts of meat (maiale, chicken, veal, sausages) all excellent, fresh meat and quality. Are we talking about the contours? One better than the other! potatoes with peppers, fried potatoes with peel and raw peppers cooked impeccably (they are lucans and are well as cooked raw peppers and nina was excellent). very well also the red wine of their production. I finished dinner with a delicious slice of tiramisu cake and a glass of bitter chicken made by nina with three wild herbs of the national park of the same name: wild, athletic and hyperic lattughino. It's very right. I'm sorry. we will definitely return to try the fish.
A few days ago we had eaten with fish. the portions are very generous and tasty prices are average. we have come to home fully and satisfactorily. we will come back safely and we will also try the meat for lunch. I want emo...sicuramente anche per una cena a basic. I would like to point out the wonderful and delicate tuna peak. with compliments to the cook. one must visit for people who visit scalea.
We enjoyed the food and the wein in la braceria, where the steak was the highlight, although every dish we had was excellent. the service we received was excellent with our host who proposes us to visit the site in the opposite and to plyst us...with homemade ghosts at the end of the meal. we were made to feel most welcome to disappoint our attractive Italian.
Egidio is a great host, he has a warm personality and is very helpful. eating is authentic, no frills, cooked with passion. the atmosphere is fundamental, what is important here is the quality. back to its restaurant nights in a row.
