Hostinec Za Vodou - Sazava

Beautiful place, food is great and comes in huge portions. Not even Henry would leave this place hungry.

While the liver pate we had for appetizer was outstanding, the main dishes were not so nice. And the price is quite high, surprising for a place in such a small town. The restaurant lacks personality and service could be nicer too. Would not recommend it.

Good place to go for lunch/dinner. Pizza, pasta Czech dishes. Food quality is good. Portion sizes are big. With each dishes you always get a side vegetables as if for 3 other people. Each month they have a different, limited special beer on menu. All for a very reasonable price (especially given the portion sizes). The personnel sometimes acts at first as if you came there to steal from them but in the end they are always nice and professional. Menu is in English and German.

Nice typical Czech place with nice big plates! Staff had some troubles with the English but were friendly anyway)

It is fajn to stop there if you are visiting Sázava. and are average. If you like fried foods it is your place. They serve big portion of food.
