Big Harlies Bbq - Sayreville

I finally heard and ordered the burned ends and ribs. The best decision. The sauces are excellent but not necessary. Perfect smokey taste and cooked for perfection. Breathe half of my bbq on the way home.

Unbelievable barbecue!!! Everything is amazing! The barbecue sauce is excellent, but it’s almost a shame to put it on the chicken or ribs because the meat is already so delicious on its own!

I love writing a great review whenever I get the chance. As soon as you head upstairs and catch a whiff of the smokers outside, it really draws you in. I thought to myself, if the smell is any indication of the food, I was in for a real treat. The brisket was perfect—thinly sliced, tender, and beautifully smoked, with a lovely pink smoke ring running through the meat. The mac and cheese was spot on, and the sausages in the Dirty Rice were bursting with flavor. Oh, and the BBQ sauces? Simply amazing. If you're stuck on the Parkway and feeling hungry, this is an ideal quick stop. And for those like me who cross the bridge for work, it's absolutely worth the trip. This is a fantastic BBQ joint, and I can't wait to go back. With over 20 years in the restaurant industry, I can confidently say that the folks at Big Harlie really know what they're doing.

We had a completely different experience! The food was absolutely delicious, served quickly and efficiently. We sampled a bit of everything, including beans, coleslaw, and dirty rice with sausage as sides. We will certainly be coming back regularly!
