Tondee's Tavern - Savannah

Cricket and Tim are fabulous employees for this wonderful jewel of a restaurant. We came to brunch during the Memorial Day weekend, and we were initially a little worried after a slow start (apparently due to the national staff shortage). But we were pleasantly surprised! The staff not only served delicious meals and fabulous cocktails, but they were so fun, cozy and warm during our meal. That was exactly the beginning we needed for our Sunday.

What a hidden gem. We absolutely enjoyed the drinks here, and the history. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to have Tim as your bartender. He made this place for us. We enjoyed his expertise and his company! We even were given some haunted history of the building. The owner, Willie, was very pleasant too as we were able to visit with him while we were sitting at the bar!

The staff not only served delicious dishes and fabulous cocktails, but they were so funny, cozy and warm during our meal. That was exactly the beginning we needed for our Sunday.

The food was fresh and delicious. I definitely get the steak, the southern fried chicken and the shrimp children's meal with Mac and cheese. Our server Tatiana was so happy and made our time there unforgettable.

Staff at the bar are sooooo fun and friendly. Their conversations and the feeling that we felt like houses made me feel like watching a comedy show. Food is great! Be careful if you want to order a Pole Dance Burger. It's huge!!! And tasteful!
