The Historic Botel - Savannah

We were there July 5 and had a fun time. Dining room still under renovation but we had a beer at the outside bar and staff was great. What a great little day trip from Somerville.

I began staying at the Botel back in the mid 80s on all my fishing trips to Pickwick. That continued for years. There was no better place to stay back then. it was nothing to run into Bill Dance there eating in the restaurant or just shooting the bull with Bill Bellis. Some of my most treasured fishing trips started with a stay at the Botel.

Great music with Frankie Marlar???? Wings, great river view, can’t beat this on a sunny Sunday afternoon!!!

The restaurant has gotten very good food the bar has nice friendly atmosphere in the RV parks are wonderful
