To clarify a couple business points first NEW BUSINESS: Muddy Water’s Cafe/Marina. On Facebook by same name. Open M Sat from 7 am 2 pm. Like/Follow them o FB for periodic Fri Sat late afternoon evening hours as well. Closed Sundays.I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve ordered Muddy Waters whether specials or on the menu and the price is right.Include great staff the setting of the Savanna Marina that feeds into the Mississippi River backwaters…AND…is at the Trailhead of the Great River Bike Trail you can’t beat it.Although I only uploaded a pic of one of their periodic specials Al Pastor (pork) tacos, you can check their FB feed FB reviews for pics of other menu items! And for customers w/ children, the restaurant also offers kids menu items.
Cozy hometown feel. Staff was great and food was fresh.
The new management saw me speaking with one of the patrons.... I turned up my music as I passed by which prompted him to call the police on me and tell them that there was someone suspicious down at the marina. I'm down here more than the new owner and manager put together because I own a boat here and a slip and I'm here everyday!
Uncle Sean's Marina Cafe is hands down the BEST food in Savanna! It's an unassuming little shack of a place right down by the boat launch, and the food Sean makes is OUT.OF.THIS.WORLD. Hand cut fries (from REAL potatoes, no frozen here! , homemade hamburger buns, homemade pizzas. Oh, and Mexican Monday? Fughedaboudit! Literally the best burritos I've ever had. His food is fresh, and it's delicious. We have never had a bad meal here (and we eat here a LOT . You'll know he's open when you see the little chalkboard menu at the very end of Main street (by the Sullivan's Grocery . Turn right and pull into the marina YES that little place with the lit up OPEN sign is Uncle Sean's, and you will NOT regret stopping there.
