Louie's Delicatessen - Sausalito

Great local deli and easy to see from Bridgeway Road. There are not many delis in Sausalito and this is worth the trip. It has a small footprint, but great taste at a reasonable price. I usually have a sandwich and salad for less than $10. I would recommend Richard's delight... great value for the dollar. They have great coffee, make Latte's and offer a wide range of drinks, desserts, sandwiches, salads and much more. Stop by and say a quick hi... You'll be full of surprise.

My favorite deli in Sausalito, I would even go so far to say my favorite in the Bay Area. The sandwiches are all fantastic, you can really not go wrong with any choice. I work nearby, so I enjoyed most of the menu, the French bread is the best for sandwiches, it is made in the house! The soup is always fresh and delicious. The owner Marice and his wife Vivian are super friendly and remember all their customers. The food and service exemplify everything there is to love about Mama Pop shops. I hope that this good institution will continue to support for the coming years.

Very friendly people who make it a point to say hello and welcome you on arrival. The sandwich I ordered had high expectations as it is the “sandwich of the year”. I enjoyed it from the beginning to the end. My only disappointment is that I didn't order two. It was a smoked turkey sandwich with a slight spread of mustard. Pears and apple slices are cut so thin that the aromas simply melt perfectly with the meat and mustard. It is not a fat, aromatized sandwich, but a mild sandwich that fits perfectly into the place. I wish I had ordered another one since I reached my destination, I had eaten it. I finished it before I even drove 4 miles on the highway. They earned this additional 5th star to be very fast in their execution, the visual representation of their layers in a sandwich (important for me) and give my son some orange slices for driving home.

Great mom and pop sandwich. Super friendly workers. It's the place you go and remember your order. I have a mate who goes for lunch a few times a week and always order the #2. A FINE sandwich!

I really like Louie's. Maurice and crew are really pleasant. Great organic coffee in the morning. no frills just good, reasonably priced food.
