Contribuiți la feedbackGood ice cream, great flavor choices, and always plenty of busy, friendly, patient ice cream servers to move people through the line. This Hawaiian ice cream chain is in a prime tourist destination and offers enough quality to draw repeat customers. I have had a few successful flavors here that I haven't seen elsewhere a cinnamon caramel one and a honey one recently. For the kids, there are classic flavors plus fun ones like unicorn poop and an Oreo and cookie dough crossover. There are free samples if you can't decide. Don't expect to sit inside a couple of tables are outside. We like to take them up to the steps by the boardwalk, where there are cement sitting areas.
The ice cream was VERY refreshing after a long day of walking around and exploring Sausalito! Not the best I've had but not bad either. It's always pretty crowded and the servers are very busy but still pretty nice. Not a lot of seating available but we were able to grab one of the two tables indoors.
Passion fruit sorbet is so tangy and good. Strong flavor which is not always prevalent in passion fruit flavored things. It was super refreshing and yummy. The key lime pie gelato had key lime pie sorbet swirled through it with pie chunks. I do wish there was more of it because at time there was too much ice cream vanilla flavor and not enough tang or familiar sour flavor reminiscent of key lime. Inside the store is small. Not much seating area but all the flavors are listed up on a screen above. The staff is also quick to grab your attention and help you out. They allow each person to have try two flavors.
Popular ice cream shop with Hawaii style decor and flavors. The lines can be huge. Today it wasn't long and we had a tasty scoop on a cone.
My boyfriend and I came here for dessert after getting dinner in the area. There was a group of people in front of us when we arrived, but the line moved pretty quick. We got to sample a couple flavors before deciding on which one we wanted. I got a single scoop $5.95) of the Blueberry Lemon Cookie, and my boyfriend got a single scoop of the Ube Macapuno. Their single scoop is pretty generous. Given the amount, it would've been great if they allowed up to two flavors for a single scoop. Unfortunately, we couldn't do that. The Blueberry Lemon Cookie was very yummy. I typically don't gravitate towards lemon flavored desserts, but after sampling this one, I immediately knew I wanted a scoop of it. The lemon was subtle and blended in very well with the blueberry. I loved the cookie bits; they provided a nice contrasting texture. I did try a couple bites of the Ube Macapuno. It didn't have the usual ube flavor I'm used to. I think the macapuno overpowered the ube. Although I personally didn't like it, my boyfriend did. So it was just personal preference. Overall, I thought the flavor selection here was good. There were a lot of flavors I wanted to try. The other flavor I sampled was the Cookie Monster, and that was very good.
