The Blue Hen Cafe In St. August

I really wanted to like this place, but I just can 't get behind the prices of this food. I got a really watered down mimosa and a breakfast burrito for $23+ . Service was fine, that wasn 't the issue, it 's just too expensive for what it was. The place is cute, I guess, but I guess I was craving more flavorful food. This place def caters to old people who don 't like anything extra in terms of flavor and spices. Bland and boring cuisine. If this was $10 less for this disappointment, I 'd have given it a glowing review bc at that point, it is you get what you get, and you don 't pitch a fit

This is a nice cafe. The food and service were very good. The peach butter and biscuit were fantastic!

Found this spot on TripAdvisor. Parking is sort of tricky, as it's a shared small lot. You may end up parking down the street and walking, which is no huge deal. It's a popular spot so you also may have a tiny wait time, but it's worth it. I got the corned beef hash and Hubs had the Two Chicken Biscuits. Both came with their house-made peach butter (sweet slight hint of peach, not overwhelming). I love a good homemade corned beef hash and this was everything! Biscuits from scratch, also. Would eat here again. Would definitely recommend to others.

Great breakfast spot! Very busy on a Sunday morning but it was worth the wait. Food was delicious and service was great.

Great food, inexpensive mimosas. Seating is small, not a lot of place to wait inside so just prepare to wait on their nice deck with fans and have another mimosa.
