Sauble Dunes - Sauble Beach

With little other alternative in town we returned once again to this joint on the first night of our annual sojourn in Sauble Beach (see my previous reviews). Clearly under new management the eatery has shed its bland and MOR menu and truly embraced pub fare, especially the formerly-banned burger. The basic cheese burger was grilled perfectly and the fries were great. Same for the avocado burger and sweet potato fries. The pecan goat cheese salad was a disappointment, small in size with some parsimony with the condiments. Complemented within minutes by our vivacious and friendly server Kaitlyn, however, with the aforementioned sweet potato fries. In contrast, the two piece cod and chips was substantial and very good. With not much competition, this joint is just about the best in Sauble Beach or Wiarton. With two pints draught beer, 1 9 oz. glass of red wine, 2 soft drinks, $98 before tip.

We had a really good time at Sauble Dunes Bar and Grill. Service was very friendly! Our server Brooke was super nice, attentive and helpful! Very good diner food. Soup was earthy, burger juicy and fish'n chips crispy. We would go back without a doubt!

Good service from Sydney, fun atmosphere, stayed for Karaoke had a blast, people up dancing great summer evening.

It was an over cast day so I decided to head over to the sand dunes only a 5 minute drive from sauble falls and let me tell you it was a hit!Our children loved it, It had just rained a bit so my cardboard box sled didn't work as well as I had hoped lol but hiking up to the top, the difference in scenery and one of a kind natural element proved a hit with the kids!

This is a great place to go for causal dinning. One side of the restaurant is causal dinning and the other side has more of a pub feel. This is a great place to just have a drink or watch sporting events. They have a new chicken wing supplier which makes their wings some of the best in town. We had chicken wings and burger with fries. Excellent.
