Knowlzies - Sauble Beach

Only 1 visit so far since getting back from FloridaWe both had the burger/fries comboWas good and didn't leave hungry for sure.

Had read great reviews and had been told that the burgers were great. So after a long day of moving, we decided to try this new restaurant. The wait staff was very pleasant and cheerful, recommending the evening special of a double rack of ribs in either BBQ or Honey Garlic sauce. The fries we were told were fresh hand cut fries. So two of us decided on the ribs while another in our group decided on the chicken wrap with sweet potato fries. The drinks arrived quite promptly while the meal took close to 30 minutes. The ribs were uneatable. Tough, so tough that the knife would not cut the meat. Much different than the falling off the bone, tender, succulent ribs that the wait staff had described. The fries were so-so. Some were okay while others were undercooked. The sweet potato fries were very undercooked, limp and greasy as if cooked in a fryer that was not up to temperature. All in all the best part of the meal was the overly strong coffee and the glasses of water. Sorry but this was far from what we were expecting. Probably the worst restaurant meal we have had in over 10 years. Next time we are in Sauble, we will drive on by. Please note: Our bill was reduced substantially and the wait staff agreed that the food was not up to their standard, apologizing accordingly.

Been here a few times and Knowlzies has been consistently excellent. Great food, amble portions, friendly people. If you are in Sauble Beach, don't head out of town to eat... this a great place to go; breakfast, lunch & supper.

My wife and I stopped into Knowlzies this past weekend for dinner. We both had the Knowlzie burger. I had hand cut fries and my wife had onion rings. Everything was excellent. The burgers were awesome and made from fresh meat, not frozen patties. The fries were really good and there were lots of them. The onion rings were also excellent. In addition to the great food at a reasonable price, the young lady who took our order and brought us our food was a bubbly and excellent server. Top marks for this place. Hope more locals try it out. Actually today we stopped there for coffee and it too was excellent. Going to try breakfast next. VERY reasonable prices on all of their menu items.

This has become our go to place for pizza in Sauble Beach. We have had it numerous time now and it is always good. Very tasty. A nice change from the usual chain restaurants. And the burgers-wonderful! Homemade and large and tasty. we usually take out or have delivered, but the one time we did eat in the young lady serving us was great.
