Russomanno Dal 1927 Servizi E Sapori

Welcoming staff and very kid friendly. The pizza's are huge and so delicious! The Arancini was the best I have tasted! There were 7 of us in my party and everyone enjoyed their meal. I was here 2 years ago and went back last week...still delicious! Can't wait to visit again! The our bill was the cheapest of all the restaurants we went to! If you want a great meal without breaking the bank, go here!!

I want to start by saying I have been visiting this place for 20+ years but only the front bar part. The place it self is very beautiful inside and gives a great sense of calm.We decided to stop for a nice dinner, knowing the spot felt it was a safe and good choice. Being Oct, and coming from the East Coast the weather was still that for us to able to sit outside comfortably, however when we asked we were told No! So inside we go, to our surprise, no warning given there is a kids bday party with ballons popping and yelling ect, (hostess should have imformed us about the party, is was after 9pm and a quite dinner this was not) this should have been my que to leave, but we were there and hungry. Ordered appitizers, 1st and 2nd. Staff was very helpful and polite. App came out w no problem. As a first we ordered the pasta w lobster. The pasta comes to the side w a half lobster in shell on the same plate. The lobster was literally black and rotten on the inside. When i explained it to the waitress she said she 'd ask the cook, as if any fish should be black???? Anyway obviously it was rotten and our plates taken away. We got our seconds and they were decent, however the rotten seafood has scarred me lol. After serving us rotten food, were kind enough to comp our coffees???? Dissapointed because the atmosphere, decor and waitstaff staff were great, but wouldn 't trust the food. This is a do not return on my list unfortunately, i hate writing negative reviews, but for those of us to do not have alot of opportunity for a night out and are willing to spend money on a dinner, i feel a fair warning should be given.

On our first night in Italy we were very tired and hungry so decided to try out Russomanno, the food was so good! There were 6 of us in our group and we all tried different Pizza's. Every type we ordered was delicious and they were huge. If we would have known we would have only ordered 3 or 4 pies and split them! The staff was very welcoming and friendly. It was a very good start to our vacation and set the bar for all the delicious food we ate in Italy!
