The Village Bistro - Saskatoon

Amazing restaurants to immerse, but the take-out is just not in place as soon as the food was cold home. Could be well packed. Missing Utilities. And just a few napkins in the bag. Even those who were not the most important problems as I was at home were worth mentioning! Overall, the food was good taste and one of the best joints to have fast meal in Stonebridge! 3.5

We were not in the bistro in a while, but have always enjoyed the fish and chips at previous visits. We also like the proximity of The Bistro to our house in Stonebridge. Today was my husband's first lunch since his double knee replacement operation. We ordered our favorite meal, fish and chips, and unfortunately we were very disappointed. The dough was so overcooked that we could hardly cut it with a knife! The servers were very friendly, but the meal was very disappointing today. We had to go, so we didn't complain personally.ñ

Appetizers ordered here and was very disappointed. I ordered the Sirloin Steak bites and was surprised that you get for $15 like 8 bites and they are super small and overcooked. The rest of the dish is filled with cherry tomatoes and cucumbers maybe to the illusion there is more food? I also ordered salad packs and thought it was again very average for $15. The meal tasted like something someone could create in their kitchen and had no good taste. It won't come back.

The concept of bistro restaurants is not quite common in NA, compared to Europe. bistro is a Russian word for fast , and that, I think, makes the idea of The Village Bistro crystal clear. It 's simple, it 's quick, relatively cheap, but also sooo good.

Disappointing. The two women servers were very slow to take orders. Had to continually ask them to come to our table of 8 to get more drinks, order food etc. They seemed very ?put out? having to wait on us. The one waitress actually rolled her eyes when one of us asked her to come over to take another drink order. The food was ok. Not very large portions. I won?t go back as there was really nothing special about the place.
