Steps Lounge - Saskatoon

The server and bartender were both extremely pleasant. The steak sandwich and caesar salad were delicious. It's a lovely spot to enjoy a drink either at the bar or at a table and unwind without feeling rushed. I would certainly return in the future.

The venue is beautiful, but my meal was disappointing. I ordered the ginger beef bowl and was met with gooey, soggy rice that should have been light and fluffy. The beef pieces were soggy and the ginger sauce lacked flavor. Perhaps the BLT is a better option, but overall I would not recommend eating here. Maybe just stick to ordering a cocktail and a snack.

This is an average lounge with a decor focused on bourbon, which is to my liking. However, they had a limited selection of bourbons on the menu and nothing exceptional, so I ended up ordering wine instead. I have been to other hotel lounges that were much better. If you're just looking for a nightcap before heading to bed, it will suffice. But if you want to enjoy a nice beverage, I would recommend checking out some of the local spots instead.

I stay in Saskatoon a lot and really enjoy dining in the Steps Lounge, The food is very good as is the staff. Holly is very attentive!! Thanks Colleen

I was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was -27 out and I did not feel like venturing out. There is an electric sign that shows the specials for each day. The Friday specials were $10.00 pizzas, and 30 cents an ounce for draft beer. There was only one other individual in the bar when I arrived. The bar has two levels. I chose the upper level. There are several televisions around the bar with various sports playing. The pizza special is for a vegetarian, pepperoni, or deluxe pizza. I ordered the pepperoni. There were several choices of draft beer. They have 16 ounce or 23 ounce. I ordered the 16 ounce. When the pizza came out I was surprised by the size of it. It was definitely more than I could eat. I managed to eat half and took the rest to my room. The pizza was very good especially for the price. Fortunately there is a microwave in the room. It was a nice relaxing late dinner. The server/bartender was friendly and checked in on a regular basis. The service was very good. I would definitely return.
