We thought it was a fun, interesting way to dine and the food was really good too. I agree that it is pretty healthy meal considering all the vegetables that come in your pot. We used only half the spicy sauce they brought for us and we thought it was very flavorful. <br/ <br/ Definitely a must try!

My husband and I just went- I have to say it was amazing!!!!! It 's a chain in China and this is the 3rd location in Canada (Toronto and Vancouver). The premise is that you go there and order a hot pot. It serves 2-4 people so when you see the price of $30-50 it 's because you 're feeding more than one person. <br/ <br/ Also, we were brave and tried the bullfrog legs as well as prawns, pork belly and pork ribs. The bull frog legs were actually surprisingly good!!! You wouldn 't realize what you were eating if you didn 't already know what it was. <br/ <br/ We tried the spicy house sauce in the hot pot as we love spicy food and it was just at the limit of being able to comfortably eat it, but no complaints here- we loved the taste! <br/ <br/ The service was beyond excellent as well. Our server told us about his childhood growing up in China, gave great recommendations and was very attentive. Even when our server wasn 't there for 5 minutes, another server would come over to check on our table. <br/ <br/ We ordered a 'make your own ' hot pot, added noodles and had two drinks for under $60. That to me, is an excellent deal for truly authentic Chinese food. <br/ <br/ For people who are used to 'Canadianized Chinese food ' you probably won 't enjoy this as you won 't find any chicken balls or fried rice on the menu. It 's much more authentic which I find extremely refreshing.<br/ <br/ I 'd recommend it to anyone to give it a chance if you 're willing to try new things!<br/ <br/ Oh and p.s. If you don 't want to be disappointed, you should make a reservation because they 're busy!

First time here and we loved it! Being new to this we didn't have a clue about anything. The staff are incredible they were very patient with us and explained everything so well. The food was awesome and flavorful! Will definitely return especially now that we know what to do. For us a new dining and learningexperience .

Food was great and seasoned well. A bit expensive for two people but we had a lot off food. Staff were attentive and always made sure we had what we needed. Loved the decor.

I was very skeptical whether I would like the food or not. Surprisingly, it was very good. The different sauces they used wasn't too overpowering instead, it complemented the dish very well. They also have a lot of varieties when it comes to which type of meats, seafood and vegetables you want to mix in. And let's not forget the side dish, it was so good. The staff was also very pleasant and they walk you through the process of creating the delicious hotpot. The place itself was also very clean when we went. I definitely would recommend this place to eat!
