Flanagan's Steakhouse - Saskatoon

We've been eating at this place for 20 years. the magic is gone. the personal has never experienced the true experience of a classic steakhouse. the old love for detail and the high quality are gone. appetizer are Costco class. cute are frozen sweet medley from the bag. table cooking on Canadian ripe teflon pan. it was a sweat. teller served 5 unpleasant mins apart. the chef could not cook good kitchen, no quality control from the kitchen. 4 meal times were all bad. the manager was courteous and friendly. the chef will guarantee that many of us will not return. sad to see that such a Jewel fails so terrible.

The whole experience was amazing. Top Notch Table Page Service. had ceasar salad for two. steak diane on the table and cherry jubilee also finished tableside. not many places do this more and the quality and taste was the best.

Amazing place , well underrated , service was top notch a hidden gem. More people need to experience this amazing place.

We were the only table in the entire restaurant. Our server was lovely, sadly can’t remember her name. However our experience was atrocious. There was 6 of us, including two children under the age of 10 celebrating a 60 th birthday. To summarize the experience. 1. We sat and listened to the kitchen staff swear and use foul language constantly. 2. We asked for bread to accompany the butter on the table. We were told the kitchen staff was keeping the bread for the other side of the restaurant, Winston’s. We finally got bread but it was stale and couldn’t eat it. 3. Most of the food was served cold. 4. Sadly the server spelt soup down the back of our 6 year old neice. She was gracious enough to clean her sweater with club soda and didn’t charge us for the Kids meals. However, instead of taking the soup bowl and plate back to the kitchen and clean it up and refill the bowl. It was left on the table for us to consume what was left as it dripped all over the place. Dinner still cost us $700. Sadly, after what we were hoping was going to be a terrific evening out, turned into a complete disaster. We were so excited to have this experience. We would not recommend Flannigans.

You must try this hidden gem. The food, service, the atmosphere and the decor are all fantastic. We will be going back.
