Contribuiți la feedbackIf you are vegetarian and tired of sweet Irani chai and the Osmania biscuits, this is the restaurant to have a good breakfast. Located near the Kaman-e-Sehar Batil, it was etsablished in 1951. It is cleaner and more hygienic than most of the restaurants in the area. They serve great Poori Subzi. Pooris are soft and served hot. The aloo ki subzi has right balance of spice and tanginess. Service is fast.
I love there Lassi.. Whenever i visit hyderabad.. I come here to have have lassi.. This time i tried kalakand which was very fresh and tasty.. I had poori bhaji and kesar pista lassi.. Lassi was so heavy bt super yumm... Must try
My mum and I were onto the uphill task of finding a pure vegetarian restaurant for lunch, in the Charminar area. As we were walking, we chanced upon this very ordinary looking eatery. We stepped in and we pleased and surprised to be seated a clean white tables. There was only one item on the lunch menu, ie. Poori Bhaji. The icing on the cake was that there was no onion or garlic in the bhaji. It was a bit spicy, though. Had a pretty filling lunch for very less.
It was raining a few days back in Hyderabad but when I reached there it was quite hot. I felt like I flew but never reached anywhere was stuck in rajasthan only. So in that hot weather, I don't know what got into my mind I wanted to try some samosa's but not of any place but of Agra Sweets. I have heard from a lot of people about its popularity for poori bhaji samosa. I tried their samosa but from their different branch but this time I wanted to visit the place from where it all began. So the place is just near Charminar but the road leading to is really small, narrow heavy traffic. The place is not an upscale shop. Its like one has walked into a halwai shop which is all the introduction you need about the place ambiance. Ordered Poori Bhaji, Samosa, Lassi, white kalakand rabdi. Poori was served with spicy aloo sabji it tasted really yum but it was too hot so if you don't like spicy food can't stand heat need AC then this shop is not for you. Then came samosa with green chutney. Samosa was fille d with aloo masala that was spicy tangy. After having such spicy items we decided to try some sweet. The owner suggested their rabdi. Ordered it it was really good, the lacha milk were just perfectly mixed with dry fruits. But still wanted to try some more sweet dish. Generally I don't but this place is like a legacy in hyderabad so gave a try to their white kalakand. Another superb dish just tasty. Final to wash away everything ordered chilled glass of their special lassi. Tasty thick curd mixed with dry fruit, kesar sugar. Just yum. If we leave the ambiance of this place it is perfect.<br/ <br/ Overall Review<br/ <br/ Ambiance Nothing much<br/ <br/ Food A little on spicy side but good<br/ <br/ Value Full Value for Money.
This place is very near to charminar in gulzar hauz area. It is a sweet shop with limited snacks menu.<br/ <br/ We tried rabri lassi , badam pista lassi and kachori. Both lassi were awesome as well as very heavy. The only thing i didn't like was that they put ice above the lassi which doesn't looks good.
