Hotel Restaurant La Hoirie

We had dinner twice in the restaurant la hoirie and enjoyed the service, the fresh food, the beautiful assiettes beautifully decorated. the menu is very small, so we have tried almost everything on it and enjoyed the whole. (I was a little disappointed by the calamares tagliatelle,...too much tentacles for my taste, but this is very personal! we tried the fish and the duck and loved eating really. the desserts were beautifully designed and very original. we're coming back!

We spent two nights here during our visits to towns and caves along the Dordogne, Our second floor room (Chambre No Castelnaud) had a small entry way with a closet, separate bedroom, and small bathroom overlooking the courtyard. Furnishings included a desk, bureau, TV, stool...used for luggage, and desk chair, also used for luggage. The AC was noticeably quiet. Amenities in the bathroom included 2 small soaps, 1 shampoo, 2 gels and towels. Water from the shower tended to splash onto the bathroom floor. There were only three electric outlets in the entire room. There is no elevator which could be a problem for people with a lot of luggage going up the narrow stairs. Lighting was good. Wifi was out for our first day and the router had to be rebooted before we got online the second evening. Although the hotel was busy, it was not noisy. We had dinner in their restaurant on the first night but did not have their breakfast. There is ample parking. Sarlat was a 5-10 minute drive away, and this hotel's location made it easy for us to explore the Perigord area.

Au milieu d'un parc, une belle demeure ancienne pour un séjour reposant et inoubliable ! le plus une table où l'accueil chaleureux autour de mets raffinés et délicieux ! Le chef mérite une pluie d'étoiles gourmandes ! le personnel aux petits soins et à l'écoute de vos moindres désirs . Quoi de plus pour séjourner à la Hoirie !

Accueil très bien ...bel endroit en retrait du centre ville et au calme. Cuisine raffinée À faire ..
