Contribuiți la feedbackAn exceptional experience every time! Wishing Well is the BEST restaurant in the region! Our waitress, Kate was excellent and made for an wonderful evening! I would go as far to say she is one of the best waitresses I have ever had!!!! We had a CaesarSalad, Delmonico Steaks, and finished the evening with a Creme Brûlée!
Took my husband here for his birthday and would highly recommend! Atmosphere was warm and polished. Waitress was very attentive. Food was amazing! Best chicken liver pate in upstate NY if you’re into that kind of thing. Both meals were cooked toperfection. For an upscale place the food didn’t take forever which was a really nice surprise. I will definitely be back!
The worst lobster bisque soup ever.. $15 a bowl .. if you like salt, this just might be for you… it was worse than ocean salt water… how does the cook not taste this before serving…. I you want a plate full of fat and more salt… order the Delmonicosteak for $49…. My friend who said to order this was embarrassed after he saw my plate and tried it…. And before I forget,Pepsi products are all flat… nice glass full of syrup n ice… yummy! They did take my lobster Bisque off my bill….. with asmile…. Beautiful place, great piano music but the food I choose was awful..
Sadly, The Wishing Well was always my favorite restaurant in Saratoga Springs, and a Travers weekend tradition for my husband and I. This year was different. Our server (Chloe) provided the worst service we’ve had at ANY RESTAURANT in SaratogaSprings. We had an early reservation (6:30) so they weren’t yet busy when we arrived. She was was very short anddisinterested in helping us with food recommendations. When we asked about seeing a wine list and looking for a recommendation,we were grateful she sent her manager (and I think the owner) to help us select a bottle. He was lovely and helped us pick out abottle we loved. Outside of opening the bottle for us, she never refilled our glasses. We ordered a starter (which came out in5min) and also a salad (also in about 5 min). She stopped back only to continue rushing us to order our entrees because “shewas going to get busy and food would take longer.” When we ordered our entrees, she didn’t return until someone elsedelivered our plates (very reasonable kitchen ticket times). As she was walking by (barely slowed down) she asked if we neededanything else (both wine glasses empty and full bottle still on the table) and she kept walking away without actuallylistening. All the tables around us had enjoyed bread service with what looked to be beautiful EVOO included on every table. They also had beautiful corn on the cob (usually served with all entrees and is my favorite part of The Wishing Well). She neverbrought either one to our table. The tables around us had a different server and we could see they were enjoying themselves andthe other server was doing a GREAT job. This has never happened dining here before, but unfortunately I didn’t care for theVeal medallions. I flagged down the other server and discreetly shared the experience we were having. I also asked if she couldhelp bring a different entree, and also some corn, etc. While she apologized for the other server’s poor service and shehelped by bri
Elegantly decorated with a rustic atmosphere leads way to a cozy and welcoming feel. The service from their well dressed staff was excellent and the food was prepared with the utmost care and detail. The Haddock had just the right amount of spices tocompliment the flakey texture and the vegetables were cooked to the perfect al dente. Be sure to finish your meal with a cremebrulee and cappuccino. ????
