Contribuiți la feedbackI ordered the omakase sushi and asked for the chef's fresh selections. For $99, I received 12 pieces of fish, and I was quite disappointed with the toro, which was subpar, and the sushi pieces were very small. My wife, who enjoys tempura, found it wasn't crispy at all. A few of the other appetizers were overly salty. However, they did have a good selection of sake, which is why I gave it 3 stars.
No self-respecting sushi chef would serve the sushi we received. We arrived for an early dinner when the restaurant was empty. The table was sticky, and there were flies buzzing around. There was a lack of transparency regarding the prices—while the cost itself wasn’t outrageous, the quality of the food was absolutely terrible. When I noticed grayish fish and toro with gristle, I asked if a sushi chef was actually working that night. This was a new low in my dining experiences. We then tried a couple of spicy tuna rolls and the saba box sushi, both of which were disappointing. The ginger was watery, and the rice was undercooked and hard. We expressed our concerns to the sushi chef, an older Japanese man, who merely nodded and thanked us for our feedback without doing anything to remedy the situation. When we left around 7 PM, I noticed the waitress putting up a “closed” sign as we drove off. Our visit was on September 27, 2023, and I paid $395 before tipping (including $165 for nigiri) for an atrocious meal. This experience felt like a scam, rather than just a bad dining experience.

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant! They offer a wide variety of traditional Japanese dishes that I haven't seen at other places. The fish used for the nigiri we ordered was incredibly fresh, and the salmon Sake Saka-jio Mushi in broth was simply out of this world delicious. The broth was delicate and full of flavor. I also really enjoyed the Maguro Okura Yamakake appetizer we tried. The chef even came over to check on our meal and treated us to extra nigiri at the end. I wholeheartedly recommend this place!
