Panza's On The Lake - Saratoga Springs

I don't go to chain restaurants. I prefer locally-owned places. Decided to give this local restaurant a shot. Hadn't been there in decades. One can tell that they are trying to go for an upscale feel, but seems like they don't put enough back in forupkeep. They have a large focus on Pizza, but no draft beer. I ordered the chicken parm, and my better half got a small pizza.The pizza and the chicken parm themselves were very good. The chicken parm came with a side of pasta, but that was it. It caughtme off guard that nothing else came with it, or was even offered when we ordered. No bread, no salad, nothing. It seemed thatour waitress was really struggling. The small dinning room was only about a third full, but everything seemed to take a verylong time. I don't blame the wait staff, I blame the management for not properly training their staff. I think this could be areally nice place if management/owners stepped up a bit.

Clam pizza had ok flavor but different from what we?re used to. Great crust. Wait time ok but 15 minutes for to-go order at host stand turned into 25 minutes. They were apologetic though, so I appreciate them trying to fit us in. It was a busy Friday night.

One of the best restaurants in the Capital District. Great service, outstanding pizza, lovely place. We have used them for receptions and private events and they went above and beyond accommodate us. Best Thanksgiving banquet you will ever find. Thedesserts are to die for.

If you haven't been there you should stop by. 7/7/22 went there lastnight at 7:55 it was polar opposite of ourlast visit. Staffing was short due to a banquet. We waited 38 minutes for our drinks and were never given so much as a glass ofwater. We ordered Appetizers over 30 minutes and I had to keep asking where our food was. We didn't get our main course whichwas pizza for over an hour which was past closing time. To add to it my pizza has no sausage or mushrooms which I clearlyordered. Lastly the soda kicked, which they told us they were putting a new one on...one in our party did not get a drink for 45minutes my girlfriend had to go to the bar and get it. Terrible and enough said!:

This place is everything and more, my son had the boneless wings and he said those were the best wings he's ever had, my girlfriend had the all white pizza and she loved it, and I had seafood pomadora, and it was to die for!! My bowl alone could'vefed all three of us,I ate from that dish for three straight days!! Btw our waiter did a great job being that it was his firstday there!! Highly Recommended!!!
