Esperanto - Saratoga Springs

One of the few places in SS where I could find a vegan pizza! It was a good pizza, although it wasn't very seasonal. I really liked the crust. I would definitely come back for the pizza. They also had a pre-made vegan burrito without cheese, but we didn't try that.

The vegan cheese is only available on a large pizza for $19, and there are limited vegetable toppings: just jalapeños, green peppers, and beans. However, the crust, sauce, and cheese are quite tasty. The vegan veggie burrito is delightful, filled with rice, peppers, and a nice kick of heat.

Nothing.... Like a dough boy and a slice after a great night with friends and drink!

Now Bigger Than a Hole in the Wall. If you find yourself on Caroline Street, you should definitely stop by this place to grab a DoughBoy (a delightful pastry filled with cheese, chicken, and seasonings) or a DoughGirl (similar to the DoughBoy but with peppers and onions instead of chicken). They also offer twice-baked potatoes and burritos. Recently, they expanded to accommodate the large crowds that come through during the track season late at night. However, it’s still more of a grab-and-go spot, as they only have a few small tables and it’s not set up for sit-down dining. Just order your food and take it with you!

I dropped by to try an 'Oboy,' and the cashier was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. As a nice gesture, they even offered us the 'Oboy' for free! It was a fantastic experience, and I look forward to returning the next time I'm in Saratoga.
