Probably low-sodium diet as everything was plain (and I season very little), moussaka (vegetarian version) without meat same price as normal, not moussaka but zucchini tossed and baked with sauce and egg… maybe different expectations from moussaka… and quite pricey considering Bosnian standards. You will do better going elsewhere
A couple of veganisable options on the menu. Staff friendly and helpful. Initially put two big scoops of sour cream on my plate but waitress just forgot to mention to kitchen. Easily resolved. I had peppers stuffed with potato.
I ate good tomato soup (for 5 KM, appr. 2.5€ which filled me up till dinner. Beside some side dishes, there are no other vegan dishes on the menu. Soup was served with traditional bread somun, but be cautious as some restaurants use milk in it or baked it on the same grill as meat. If you're not hungry, get their tea or coffee. The ambient is very nice. The only thing that bothered me was restaurant across the street serving meat after meat..
Don't eat here. My lunch was a plate of peas with 4 small pieces of carrot. They don't have sweets. There are better places in Sarajevo!
After being turned away by other restaurants that closed promptly at 10pm, these two kind women opened their doors for us when they saw us standing outside their establishment, starving at 9:45pm. Within just half an hour, we were able to enjoy a nice dinner with special VIP treatment as the only customers.
