Cacy's Bbq - Sapulpa

There seems to be a lack of passion in the smoking process at this restaurant. Unfortunately, I didn't experience much of that during my visit. I ordered the smoked brisket, and it hardly tasted smoked at all. While it was tender, it lacked flavor and seasoning. There were five of us in total, and the others who chose the buffet shared similar opinions about the food. Our bill came to $90.00, which feels steep considering the quality of the meal. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere, as this isn't a quality BBQ spot. The only reason I’m giving it two stars is due to our wonderful waitress. It's tough to find good service, and I don't want to overlook her efforts.

The barbecue here had an impressive flavor. I tried the brisket sandwiches, and the meat was both tender and delicious. While I wasn't particularly excited about the side dishes, they were decent enough. In addition to barbecue, they also offer baked potatoes, which they top with barbecue as well—quite amusing! I noticed that they used to have burgers on the menu, but those have been crossed off and are no longer available.

The lunch buffet offered an excellent variety, including a salad bar and delicious cobblers for dessert. The pulled pork was flavorful, and both the hot and mild sauces were quite tasty. The waitstaff was attentive and thoughtful throughout the meal.

The buffet is terrible. Very little thought or effort put into the limited selection. The hot links were at least 2 days old and very dry. The pulled pork was room temperature and had no smoked flavor almost as if it was cooked in a crockpot. I would compare it to going to your friends house that doesn’t know how to cook and he offers you his leftovers from 2 days ago and thinks they might still be ok to eat.

Stopped in to try their new BBQ buffet. The server did not tell us the buffet was almost empty. Another couple told us they had been waiting over an hour for meat and the buffet to be filled. We left and went down the road to another BBQ place. I understand they are going through growing pains right now since adding the buffet, but the server should have told us when we ordered that it was empty and they didn't know when it would be filled.
