Hippocampus Beach - Saplunara

The only sanding beach it is nice but bring your own chair and drinks. This place opens when they feel like it since it said 10am and the person show up at 11:20am and then they were rude about asking for access to the only bathroom in that beach. Worst customer service. Find another place to spend your money! They rent the lounge chairs for 7 euro per hour I guess because we're there only there 1 hour. Parking: If you can find a spot to park.

Wonderful beach but not a very good bar. They weren’t able to make hardly any drinks and our second round told us they had run out of all drinks except cosmopolitans, and the staff weren’t very friendly to us or the other people who were visiting. The cosmos were nice but I wouldn’t go back.

Good place to start the day or rest. Very friendly waitress and good coffee. Recommended!

Wonderful beach bar in the beautiful green bay, worthy of a visit all by itself. Not only did we feel very welcome, but the staff was so polite, kind and attentive we almost didn’t want to settle on the beach and go swimming Unfortunately, I forgot my jacket at the table and we left on the next ferry to the mainland. Against all odds, they promptly responded to my message on Facebook, and volunteered to send me the jacket by mail to Zagreb at their own cost and would not accept the compensation. I cannot express how grateful I am for their kindness and will remain their loyal guest every time I visit the wonderful island of Mljet. They alone are worth it
