A jewel from the center, no doubt. a small place, with white and blue ink and photos of the grécia. a danada would run, with a beautiful queue (this we got there the 15 after waiting for 40 minutes, we sit down and we ask for the eggplant paste and the octopus coming in. There are not two disappointed. the paste was wonderful, unlike any other paste I've ever eaten and the boiled octopus perfection, I thought it was impossible to leave an octopus better than that. I have had a great time going to this place, Mr. trasso owner of the restaurant makes it important to go to the table of the clients by greeting and watering their dishes with enough olive oil, from the entrance we taste the delicious octopus salad with enough olive oil accompanied by a basket of bread, which by itself already fed a battalion, then we try the stuffed squid and the shrimp parmegiana, both very tasty and well maintained atmosphere.
Thrasivoulos is a legendary! and its eating is also great. acropolis is all about trasso; he is the restaurant. I had the pleasure to eat there when I visited brazil in 2012 and I was mesmerized by the history of this mannes. the restaurant's decor reminds them of an old tired restaurant in a small Greek quarter with any cheap decor and plastic terrace furniture. the eating is average, but the nice thing is that it has a nice selection of daily fresh kochutensilien, including some classics like the moussaka. not sure how and if the restaurant continues to be open when trasso decides to quit; but by the look of him, even in an age of over 80 years, he does not seem to want to stop soon!
Imagine a very simple place that, no matter the time or the day of the week, makes you feel having lunch in family at the grandmother's house. Good boy! I can't describe the acropolis better. That's how I felt... at my grandmother's. You better, my grandfather, since it's the sr. trasso who gets us so well there! to be more precise yet, I felt in the kitchen of his house, since it is there (in the kitchen even if we serve. the food? good, I do not understand Greek cuisine, but I liked absolutely everything I ate! the place is well crowded, but it is very easy to pick up a bottle of original and to get on the door popping, drinking and eating a sensational get-in. ..read more
