Cafe Regional Pastelaria e Geladaria

Excelente doçaria mas um péssimo serviço. Típico de quem não tem concorrência. Demasiado caro para quem tem de se servir.

Arrived just before they shut and were still served - the only positive,(had a drink a few days ago sat out in the sun in the square and it was lovely) so we fancied another G&T before dinner. So disappointing! We were served in a plastic pint glass containing a lot of ice, some lemon and tonic, unfortunately the gin was missing. We were not the only people to be missing the gin - normally I wouldn't be one to complain however the other people who had joined me in drinking tonic said they had already tried and failed. Finally, we left our drinks and went for dinner. Happy to discuss this with the server (he disappeared as soon as he saw us speaking with other disgruntled customers) if he would like to. We don't expect much just a 'proper' G&T or a reimbursement if the gin is running low. It's a shame as the Portuguese are amazing but this experience made me feel as if the gentleman/establishment thought they could take advantage of tourists...

Lovely daytime visit for drinks and fab cakes, even nicer now the square has been remodelled. Good coffee and lovely Portuguese custard tarts.

Não tem melhorado nada. Pelo contrário. Espaço mal organizado e com um aspecto antigo. A precisar de um bom decorador. Atendimento confuso e só ao balcão. Quem faz um sumo faz depois uma tosta e recebe o pagamento. Luvas nem sinal.

We were waiting for a restaurant to open for dinner and decided to refresh ourselves with drinks here...we ended up buying cakes to take home and the lady behind the counter had impeccable English, explaining what was in every cake. We drank, went on to our dinner reservation ,then took our cakes back to our villa...they were all incredible. Thank you Cafe Regional, you were awesome!
