Paulina Escanes- Gourmandize - Santurce

I thoroughly enjoyed immersing myself in the food culture of Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, this restaurant did not feel authentic and I would suggest trying another place with friendlier staff and a stronger connection to traditional Puerto Rican cuisine.

It is amazing to see that this restaurant is even more strict than the government. I presented my negative Covid-19 results within 48 hours, as required by law for the waitress and manager, but the owner of the establishment has decided that only fully vaccinated individuals can be employed. It is disheartening to see places like this discriminate against a portion of the population who may not believe in vaccines and are required to undergo weekly testing just to dine out. This goes against our constitutional rights.

The food was scrumptious and the service was excellent! This restaurant is sure to impress. We enjoyed it so much that we returned for dessert.
