This fantastic small restaurant with an attached shop offers a variety of vegan products for your travel needs, including tofu (soyaqueso). They are open from 8 am to 4 pm, with more lunch options available than for breakfast. The cherry juice is so delicious that I would happily drink it every day. They also sell vegan protein powder. #Veganuary.

The experience was fantastic. The majority of the menu is vegan, with the exception of a few cookies and granola. I can't wait to return.

The food at Casita Vegetariana is excellent, with a variety of vegan options (except for honey, as noted in the listing). I visited this place about ten times in 5 days and was impressed by the cheap prices. A meal with a juice typically costs between 100-150 pesos ($2.50-$3 US). The restaurant is open until 6PM every day, except for Saturdays or Sundays when they close at 3PM. However, I once arrived around 5PM and found that all the food for the day was gone, even though they were still open. To be safe, I recommend arriving a bit earlier. Casita Vegetariana offers a buffet style dining experience with a small health food and vitamins section attached. If you are in the area, I highly recommend stopping by for a meal.
