Typical Portuguese food, very weel prepared, great staff! it is one of our regular places for special occasions or if we only feel to get out. big queijo de nisa, perfect gloomy, never had a bad dish at this place!

We ate here yesterday lunchtime without forethought or research,we just drove by at lunchtime. Our first impression was, that although it was in a small village it had a good sized car park that was surfaced with tarmac. Also the exterior of the restaurant looked cared for. Things got even better once we entered, we were greeted by very friendly staff(probably the owners son), who showed us to our table and then left us with a menu whilst he went to get the red house wine that we had ordered. The menu read very well, with many typical Portuguese dishes and also a good selection of daily dishes. We elected to have bread and the soft cheese as a starter followed by the "Secretos Do Porto Preto". We think that they are always tasty, but these were the best ever. Everything was served with a smile and a friendly chat. This will not be our last visit and I would certainly recommend it to other 1st timers.
