Ran De Mar - Santanyí

I ate multiple meals at Ran de Mar while staying at the resort. It is actually pretty ordinary, although I thought that Breakfast was actually pretty good. The desserts at dinner were good too. It is a buffet, which makes service issues relatively unimportant.

I visited the restaurant while staying half board at the hotel. The quality of the food was good and lots of variety. There was a kids station which was pretty unhealthy but the adults food was good, sushi one night, lobster and crab another. There was an Italian night with a table full of cheese and the deserts, ice creams and fruit was very good. Service could be a bit slow, and if you ate after 9pm (restaurant closed at 10pm) you could easily get a table outside, but staff started to clean up at 9.30 so you had to be quick as popular dishes didn't get replenished

We ate at Ran de Mar while staying in the hotel. The service on the terrace was really abysmal. We had to wait 45 minutes to get our drinks ordered. By that time we had already completed our first course. The buffet food is mediocre and the price-value is poor. For the rest of the evening the waitress tried her best to completely ingnore us. We asked for a napkin amd fork which were missing at the table, but we never got them, when we tried to order more drinks the slow service was repeated. Definetely not recommended

The food at this buffet was well cooked, seasoned, flavoured, and prepared. There was a very good variety of different foods, and of course, everyone couldn’t help but marvel at the array of desserts available (especially the chocolate fountain!!: and we really found the food to be a nice dinner regardless of the buffet setup as opposed to a more formal a la carte layout. A highly commended restaurant and thoroughly recommended.

This had some of the best food i ever ate! The service was excellent too and they knew lots of languages which helps some people lots! They have the best chocolate cake EVER! The pancakes come with lots of additions and you can even add cocoa to your breakfast cereal! The choice of fruits in immense and the desert can be cake, cookies, muffins and many many more! I could explain forever about the the amount of food, i honestly recommend you should eat there! I would sell my soul for these meals one more time! This place is as international as it gets thanks to the service, the service speaks lots of different languages which invites different people to come! There are Poles, Germans, Brits and totally lots more.
