In the lounges on the upper floor they offer a fantastic, all you can eat, buffet, with salads, good meats, chicken, fish and other typical foods... rice and beans. Porker in pururuca-style roasted wine is always crispy and dry. It is a return to the agricultural wealth of the Dinning. The grill is OK, but the Graviola juice is wonderful. Nice restaurant!
Pleasant city to visit and must know restaurant. Beautiful location and surroundings. Great typical food (all you can eat) and various types of drinks. Be ready to eat a lot, like with a food that is good, and with an honest price, you will not fall... the bone that is a usual Brazilian expression...
I ate there a day a week. The place itself is very pleasant. The food is a good typical Brazilian cuisine: rice, black beans, pork and more. I paid a fixed price for a meal, and the desserts included (drinks not included). I have... a variety of foods missing: There were no fish the salads were very basic and simple (various types of chopped vegetables). The restaurant is good, but I was in better Brazilian restaurants. I realized that the weekend they offer more food variety, so maybe it's better to try it then...
The restaurant is a self-service service with great salads and typical accompaniments from Minas Gerais.
We went to Sao Paulo Antigo for lunch with the family and it was outstanding. The building is located in the town square, and is a well maintained two storey street front historical house. Inside is wooden and cosy, but the upstairs dining area is big. It...looks like a moden extension has been built on the back there are big windows that let in a lot of light, and a good view of Santana. There was a huge selection of traditional Brazilian food, served in clay pots rice, beans, meats, crackling, soup, salads and vegetables. There was even an entire roast suckling pig. It was all delicious, and the presentation was a novelty too (for a non local). The dessert selection was equally wonderful caramel pudding, coconut pudding, fruits and other traditional desserts. The price was not cheap but not expensive. If you're in the Santana de Parnaiba area, I would highly recommend stopping here for lunch. Unfortunately it is not open for dinner.
