Grappolo - SANTA YNEZ

On a day that things may not go as planned and you find yourself in a bit of an up-set, Grappolo is the tender loving embrace that will instantly transport you into a better mood, the best mood, dare I say, a new mood. I'm a lover of food and an appreciator of those that put their essence into every bite. I'm also a damn good cook, traveling the world expanding my palate, and that's just what others say. So when I tell you I felt things about the meal I ate seasonal pumpkin ravioli in a sage cream sauce) that I had never felt before, that's me inviting you into my intimate thoughts. I felt elation, passion, adventure, and pure bliss. Every bite took me further. My partner had the lasagna, which he ate frequently some years back, and returned to a new found love, after years of its absence. I too had a bite of his meal, it was divine. We started with an arugula salad, the freshest I've ever had and ended with a flourless chocolate cake. The perfect kiss goodnight baked into a small gift. Thank you Eric, you were equally a part of the magic! Grappolo is blessed to have you.

Always very good! We go specifically for their sole and panna cotta. So delicious and you can't get it from anywhere else!

Was here last weekend. Have been going here at least once a year for 17 years. Food has always been on point, but not this time. The pizzas crusts were not done all the way through. Our husbands were so bummed.

The homemade spinach ravioli was filled with mush and the pasta skin was inconsistent; some parts paper thin and some parts thick enough that it wasn't cooked through. Only saving grace was the burrata salad.
