Village Bakery - Santa Rosa

I dropped by to pick up some bread. Not all breads are created equal and this place has bread so fluffy I could sleep on it. I was surprised to see the wide array of desserts offered because I didn't notice that many the last time I dropped by. I'm glad I know because now I look forward to trying them all! They look delicious!

So. I have 2 picky kids 7 and 11 and a mother who only eats microwavable food from Traders Joes. For her birthday I got a Tres Leches cake from The Village Bakery. I wasn 't sure what to expect, because I have never had a tres leches cake but OMG. First of all- everyone loved it. Kids, mom, me-it was DIVINE. It was the highlight of her birthday dinner! We had it for breakfast the very next morning. Then we each had a slice for lunch. And that was it. It was gone. I already have been wondering when the next holiday is so I can order another one. Best cake I have ever eaten in my entire life. Thank you!!!!

Great coffee. Delectable pastries. Divine pea soup. Outdoor seating available.

It's Black Friday and we needed a break from shopping. Village Bakery was so right for us. Lots of treats to chose from. And, the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved our visit.

The best sour dough seeded bread., I would walk a mile for and there cakes are great too
