Contribuiți la feedbackWe chose this place because of the lavender farm and it was not disappointed. Beautiful landscape, the smell of lavender was great. The wines were really good. I'm not a white wine drinker, but I bought some of her 2018 Knights Valley wine it was so good. Our host, Nicole, was incredible. She needed time to give us not only the education she should give, but also spent more time to answer our unique questions and gives great recommendations for others from the way she enjoys wineries in the area. You can say she really loves her job and that makes a great place to visit! Very recommended!
It is a very beautiful and correct size of the winery with a self-touring lavender garden. We chose the picnic table with $50 reservation. And this is refunded with 4 bottles of purchase. I would say that Sauvignon Blanc 2018 really surprised me with refreshing taste. I really love getting into the fields of the Lavendellande!
Our tasting at Matanzas was the highlight of our Sonoma journey! Some really funny wines, both the white and red wine lovers of our party were impressed and could not leave without a few bottles. Especially the journey collection and the red blends were very unforgettable. Thank you Janessa for taking care of us so well and introducing us into the history and wines of Matanzas!
Beautiful environment for wine tasting! Brad was the perfect host! Chardonnays and the Merlot were excellent!
This winery has fantastic views and a great patio to enjoy them on. The lavender fields were beautiful and smelled fantastic. It was a bit awkward when my group first arrived. There was an older gentleman working there that just stared at us and did not acknowledge us at all. However, the host was quickly able to seat us and our wine expert was very polite and knowledgeable about the wines. She gave us an extra pour and overall provided great service. I liked the 2020 Jackson Park Vineyard, savignon blanc.
