Diego's Pizza - Santa Rosa

Our group of four stopped during the trip for a fast bite. It took an hour to get our food. There were only a few other occupied tables, not busy at all. Wait, wait. When we decided to go, the food arrived. All four meals were disappointing. The chicken dinner was so seasoned that the two of us who ordered it could not eat it. My meal went completely unleavened. The two burgers were served on old dried bungalows that fell apart on touch. All foods were dry and old and cooked over. The waiter was nice, but most of the time was not available. No one drinks a refill in the over-hour waiting period. He finally took 2 limes from our bill. We never go back. I spoke to another galle on the way that had traveled with her husband and had almost the same things as we did. Her last words were that they and her Hubby would never return. She said she could have gone to the kitchen and she could cook better and faster than her.

Pizza was good.. no ruffles, but really delicious. It was busy when we arrived, but the staff was polite and confirmed us immediately.

Very good pizza for a fair price. Service was great and friendly. Since there were many other guests, it took a while before we had our food.

Ok, the pizza was really really tasty. Nice crust, good sauce, quality toppings (pepperoni and green chiles? Heck yeah! , zero complaints there. The service could have been better though. First, they only serve pizza at certain times if day, and naturally I got there an hour before they started doing so. Ok, no biggie, I'll check in to my hotel, call the order in, and pick it up. Only problem was that no one answered the phone. Glutton for punishment and desperate for pizza, I drove over to order in person. In the end, the pizza was great, but they made me work harder than I wanted to after driving for 10 hours to get there, so 1 star reduction for the hassle!
