Visited on a Wednesday evening for dinner. Only one server that seemed very frazzled and under trained, had trouble managing only 6 or so tables. There were many items unavailable on their menu that was not communicated to us prior to ordering. I ordered a pineapple and prosciutto pizza, was served without pineapple. Although the server was nice enough to not charge us for the pizza unprompted, it just seemed like the restaurant was being poorly managed. I don't blame the staff who were working. They were all young and trying their best. My blame is with whoever it is that does the ordering and trains the staff. They had an awesome beer menu, maybe a dozen beers listed, learned when trying to order they only had 3 available. Two tables behind us settled up about the same time and were handed each others credit cards, the server had mixed them up and returned them to the wrong people. I felt empathetic because you could tell the server was working hard just simply unprepared to run things solo. That's not the servers fault. That's management/owners fault. Overall, my experience was slow, disorganized, disappointing, the menu was misleading as they were out of so many items, and we were served a dish missing a key ingredient with no communication prior to being served. Our experience was like a comedy of errors. Our appetizer took a long time to arrive. Our entrees took so long they gave us another appetizer for free. Our friends' (shared) dish arrived quite a bit later, but not ours. They were well beyond done with their meal before ours arrived. My friend got the Bolonese Gnocchi, and it looked like a soup. The tiramisu looked like a pudding in a short glass, and was missing the rum. Our table was never cleared of dirty dishes, and was so full that we were knocking tall wine glasses over. But our server was a very nice young woman (though I think was managing everything in the restaurant), and the food wasn't bad. Awesome food, fun wines, very down to earth and friendly staff. Been here many times, always a great casual experience.
