Bettys English Fish N Chips

The food was great! Hot and quick! Portions were great for both my mother and I. She absolutely loved her prawns and scallop combo! I had the fish and chips. Loved the flaky cod. The chips(fries) were delicious too! I couldn't even finish I was stuffed. Oh yeah almost forgot the coleslaw. My mother said it's the best she's ever had. The staff is fantastic. They are friendly and patient and everyone had a smile to share. Definitely recommend this place, we'll be back next time we're in town!

As usual, they knocked it out of the park. People that complain about the price should just go to McDonald's, get a fish sandwich, and a hobby. The owners are incredibly hard working, friendly, generous and put every ounce of love they have into their food. Quality of ingredients is off the charts. No photos because I ate it all.

This is the most delicious fish and chips and I believe it is the tartar sauce. It's not the service so much as it is the food. They are quite busy because of the food. Phenomenal

In my humble opinion, this is one of the best fish 'n ' chips restaurants on this side of the pond! This place had been there since 1956! I 've driven by this place for some 30+ years and, shamefully, I had never paid attention to the existence of this place! Its is a small place with a very cute and boutique feeling to it! I 'll definitely be visiting this place often! The portions were large and the cod was fresh! What really stood out was their dresh black pepper based tarter sauce (besides the fresh fish)! Its was quite unique and delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant!

Tried this restaurant and was impressed. Fish was so delicious that I forgot to use the tarter Sauce. Very cozy and comfortable environment. Loved the atmosphere with October orange decorations with pumpkins on the table.. try it out!!
