Wahoo's Fish Taco - Santa Monica

I’ve finally gotten around to posting about my travels, but returning home has meant diving headfirst into a hectic work schedule at the lab. Summer is definitely not the time to take it easy, haha. Many of my time-consuming experiments were set to begin at the end of the month, so I spent the two weeks following my trip preparing for the challenging weeks ahead. Thankfully, my sister was there for moral support.

Not Just Fish Tacos! I had always been a bit reluctant to try this restaurant, even though my fiancé loved it. However, we finally visited today, and I truly enjoyed it! I was pleasantly surprised by the delicious vegetarian and tofu tacos and enchiladas. The only downside for me was the taste of cilantro, which I'm not fond of, but aside from that, it was a fantastic experience!

My family and I absolutely love this place. The portions are generous, the prices are affordable, the food is of great quality, and the service is excellent. It's definitely one of the best spots in Santa Monica!

Best Service in LA. I frequent most of the typical chain restaurants and Wahoo's is my favorite. Best healthy food at a value with great service at almost all (there is actually one poor Wahoo's in West LA). I have been to many Wahoo's in the area and this has the absolute best service. They always ask how your food is and if there is a problem they go out of their way to make it right. I drive or ride five miles out of my way to eat at this one even though I live very close to the West LA location.

These tacos were just what we were looking for. Firstly I want to recognise that the staff member named Natasha was so helpful! She helped us pick the perfect tacos and explained everything efficiently... making it easy to understand how to order. The tacos both vegetarian and fish were delicious. Although both vege tacos had an odd Asian fusion twist too them, the veggies one was my favourite. My friends ate the crispy fish and wild fish tacos and said the crispy was the best! Overall we would come back. 5 stars !!!
