La Perla de Santa Marta

Un hallazgo casual. Incluso dudamos en entrar en este simpático restaurante porque estaba vacío, pero disfrutamos la sabrosa comida y la atención de un personal amable que "adaptó" una receta a solicitud (asunto de lactosa).We even hesitated to walk into this nice restaurant in Santa Marta because it was empty. We enjoyed the tasteful food and the attention by friendly staff who accommodated to a request for some "adaptation" in their recipes (lactose issues...)

This restaurant is a great place for lunch, the woman we spoke with was friendly and helpful, shared our experience and gave us advice for our upcoming trip to Peru. She was Spanish, but fluent is also English! Food was excellent and we were very happy to stay for lunch.

Cosy ambiance. Tables on the street. Delicious food. Well priced. Friendly staff. Life music and other entertainment on the street. Unfortunately too many people begging for money or food.

This hotel was very comfortable, had a comfortable bed, a hot water shower, and a delicious breakfast that included choices, and fruit and cereal was set out buffet style. And this is important, the air-conditioner worked like a charm! The only thing I didn’t like was the heavy heavy comforter on the bed, so I just took it off and slept under the sheet.
