La Chatica - Santa Marta

We went to lunch one day. Great food. Small place, small menu. We had the Churrasco beef that came with rice, salad, soup and juice. There were about 3-4 other items in the menu. The atmosphere. No a/c that is good for us and many fans. Service was also great. I don't think it's safe) this place closes around 2 so sure going ahead 2.

One of the best Korrientazo (midday menu for 3-4 usd) we had in Colombia, far better than many more excellent restaurants if you are in Santa marta, don't hesitate!

We looked at this restaurant when we went to lunch. It was full. They had several plates of lunch choices that came to drink with a bowl of soup and juice. The food was delicious. The cost of every lunch all inclusive except tip was 10,000 pesos, or less than $3.50 per person.

We are at this place every day we were at SM for lunch. It is worth it for the menú del dia. The food is delicious and there are 2 options for the starter and about 5 for the main course. It also comes with a juice. One thing I would mention is to come here early (approx. 12.30), because it is quite busy. I think it's closing at 2:00.

We've been here twice in two days now the food is really tasty and so reasonably priced...total for two people is around 30.000pesos. It's definitely the place in Santa Marta to get a good lunch. They serve different dishes every day and we have tried robalo with a shrimp sauce, salmon and churasco. All come with juice or lemonade (particularly notable), soup, salad, rice and plantain but on both days the accompaniments have been done slightly differently. Delicious and a must when in Santa Marta.
