The sericbe was not worht called service an when we finally fot the food it was the worst pizza ever. A freezer pizza inte micro would hve been better

We stopped in for drinks and snacks on a bright early fall day. Good place for people watching. Inexpensive, outdoor seating cordial staff....A nice rest stop in Santa Marinella.

We usually stop by Gigi's Bar to get a coffee and cornetto in the early morning when the place is still empty and we are on our the way to the beach. Then one day we decided to get drink after lunch and sit outside to play some backgammon. And so the saga began. First a young waiter approached us and asked if we had paid for the table, I told him we didn't and asked how much it was to sit. He said €1, so I paid him and he was happy and gone. We carried on playing backgammon, but our game was about to be interrupted again. Another waiter cam and asked if we wanted more drinks. I literally just finished mine, so I said not now thank you. To which he replied that we have to pay for the table. I told him we had just paid for the table and his reply was that the other waiter had finished his shift and that now it was his shift and it was his table and we had to pay. I told him that it wasn't my business what happened with the waiters shifts because I paid to sit down have a drink and play backgammon. But he insisted that if I stayed at the table I would have to order a drink or pay for the table. I refused, packed my game and left. Never going back there again. besides, there are plenty other places to chose from so nobody has to put up with their money grabbing attitude. Avoid it if you want to have a good time. Plus, the coffee is tolerable but nothing special.

Located in Santa Marinella right in the middle of the action, they have chairs for rental and food upstairs. Overall, its ok, but the service is really take it or leave it. They know they will have business either way so they don't really care how they treat you. Like I said, fine for a coffee or just a quick spritz but I wouldn't go out of my way.

The staff are very polite and ideal to grab some drinks next to the beach with a great view, the prices are good also and they give you snacks each time to buy drinks
